Job purpose:
Working with specialists from other engineering disciplines, the candidate will provide defence and commercial safety compliance expertise in support of business opportunities. This will include MAA RA5000 series regulations, EU Directives and Standards.

Key responsibilities

> Capturing the compliance process on the Ultra Business Management System
> Monitoring defence and commercial safety standards and updating local library
> Maintaining the Ultra DAOS exposition and liaison with MAA
> Maintaining compliance checklists
> Ensuring Ultra CIS products are compliant with relevant safety legislation and standards

Personal attributes:
> Qualified in Software, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering at Degree or equivalent
> Broad knowledge of defence and commercial product regulations
> Experience of reviewing product designs for compliance with regulations
> Excellent general written and verbal communications skills.
> Willing to undergo, and are able to achieve and maintain, SC and/or DV security clearance.
